The Campolerose farm has its own production of chickens and rabbits. We invite you to expressly communicate at your arrival of wanting to taste them.

The discovery of a new place not only of the places to visit but also the flavors of the local tradition. The same culinary tradition of Basilicata, enclosed in delicious dishes prepared by chef Antonio Tedesco Campolerose the Masseria you will embark on a tour of flavors throughout the history of the Pollino National Park.
The dishes offered by Campolerose Masseria are prepared with local ingredients selected, some are produced directly inside the Masseria, such as vegetables.
The figure of the farmer and shepherd, jobs that were so common in the history of the Valle del Mercure and still are, have influenced the cuisine.
The basic ingredients are vegetables everyday and typical vegetables such as Red Aubergine Rotonda, product DOP, IGP Bean Poverello, or dairy products such as Paddraccio (goat cheese), or the wide variety of meats like the brawn, the neck, sausage ham and many others.
All these ingredients are expertly blended by chef Antonio Tedesco, who manages to create an alchemy that will not forget very easily.
A definitive menu does not exist, because the dishes always increase, thanks to the inventiveness of the chef every day creates a new dish to add to the classic farm.
The gastronomic journey of Campolerose Masseria part from a wide variety of appetizers that represent the true highlights of the kitchen, consisting of legumes, vegetables, meats, cold cuts and cheeses. Then the first classic of the area with handmade pasta as "Rascatteddre" i "Tappiceddre" or the "Tagghiuline" seasoned with sauces such as wild boar or with mushrooms or the characteristic noodles with milk. The latter strictly meat, such as mixed grills that much recall the tradition of the territory.
Of course the wines are Lucani, and the farm it offers two types Aglianico del Vulture and The Grottino Roccanova. The dining room made of stone masonry veneers, can comfortably accommodate up to 50 people, ideal for banquets, dinners, anniversaries.

Our rooms
The farm Masseria Campolerose, completely renovated, has 4 comfortable bedrooms, 2 can become a small apartment, all you have over 11 bed places available throughout the year.
In each room there are private bathrooms with shower, they are all equipped with TV and a fridge, and all reached by Wi-Fi signal.
An optimal solution for an overnight stay at the foot of the Pollino massif, to leave for excursions to do within the park and just minutes from Rotonda and Viggianello. After spending a day in the magnificent sights of the Pollino National Park and having eaten dishes of the chef of the Farmhouse, there is nothing better than being able to stand in a warm place as our rooms, which will allow you to regain your strength to deal a new day to discover new things around the park.
